A lot has happened over the last weeks. Why don’t you write about it?

So, WordPress has been prodding and urging to me to write all that happened over the last couple of weeks, that I have finally succumbed to their request (which sounded more like an order).

But they have been right. A LOT has happened over the last couple of weeks.

Well to start with, my little beagle-Chiquitta has had 5 little chiklets.

5 lovely tri-coloured bundles who have been wrapping us all around them 24 x 7. feeding..cleaning..pooping..sleeping..playing…and then sleeping again and the routine goes on. Just as they were completing three weeks, they all opened their eyes and started moving on their feet, a whole wide world opened up for them. What a lovely life.

Then there was our brave Milli (or Chandani as some people know her). Milli was found on the highway, badly injured. Obviously trained, this girl came and promptly sat in the car, as if to think she was just waiting to say “come in”.

So, as soon as she reached PetSitters, she made it into her home and allowed us to help her in all possible ways, medically and emotionally. Milli’s injury called for an amputation and she is now running and prancing on three legs.

In the middle of all this was Mr Chips-our GSD look alike Mix, who we were fostering till a week back.

He had made Milli his mother and would sleep with her, eat when she was eating and they used to comfort each other.

Then he proceeded to make the Beagle litter his siblings and shared the toys, the food, the love and the attention.

To summarize all this, at the end of lovely three months.. 2 of the beagle puppies have gone to their forever homes. Two more leave our place at the end of this month. Milli has found a lovely family and she is going to be with 2 more pets and Mr Chips got adopted 3 days back.

Well, these kids are gonna be missed, but the Summer crowd hits us this weekend and we are all set for some summer splashing, cold chicken soup, icecream parties, lazy afternoons and cool breezy evenings..
